One Day

One of the most beautifully shot movies i have seen in a while. The movie tells the story of two young people who are very good friends since college but never got too close. You know the plain girl who you thought you would never get together with? Year after year, the two of them catch up on their lives, as we all do, on our different paths. Is it really that hard to be successful at what we love? that is the question to be asked. As with life, career, love... everything is uncertain, will the true moment that you share with a special person inspire you everyday.

Cemetery Junction

Going through the past months was much like a countdown to me. I have picked up more movies in the store than before, and this title deserves a post here, specially for those who are finding their way in the heap that is life. Cemetery junction puts the drama into humor and romance, and packages it into a moving story worth keeping in your shelves to re-watch for years to come. It depicts the life of three young lads who has lived their lives at a small suburb known as cemetery junction. Being bored of their lives working at the factory, one of them sets off to find a more meaningful purpose for himself. Having ventured into the insurance line, he then discovers his true desires to spend his life living outside the small town. That brings about his quest to travel far far away, without a plan, just making it up as he goes... The story follows his many trials to get his mates to follow him, to do what we always dream of - Be wild and free, have a story to tell when you're old.
